Chorley woman suffers broken ankle after being knocked down by man on romobility scooter
She said: “He was flying along and ran straight into the back of me, pushed me down the pavement and into the road.
A passing motorist jumped out of his car and rushed after the man to stop him. He took the keys from his scooter and kept him at the scene until police arrived. "I have awful injuries and can’t drive for six weeks. I can’t even walk unaided as both my ankles were crushed. I’m sore, stiff and angry, but I’m lucky it wasn’t worse.”
