You can get rid of flies without resorting to harsh chemicals
While many of us are leaving our windows open in a bid to catch a little breeze during the summer heat, that can have unfortunate consequences. As well as cooler air, an open window will often let in flies.
Luckily though, there are things you can do to banish flies for good, that don't cost a fortune and won't fill your house with artificial chemicals. One woman replied: "Fresh mint. The stuff you grow in pots. Flies and ants hate it," while another, added: "Mint, they hate it, have some in the window sill."
