A victim of domestic violence has expressed her disappointment at the "light sentence" her attacker received for assaulting her after a night out.
She had been involved in a relationship with the man for around four years with him appearing in court twice for attacks on her.The most recent attack took place following a night out in January 2022, when she says she was strangled and attacked by Quinn after not wanting to go to a party. The mum says that she was the victim of domestic violence during their four year relationship, and that when she had tried to end the relationship he began stalking her.
She said: "When I was told about the sentence that he received I was very disappointed and felt that it was barely even a slap on the wrists.
