A shooting in Hanover Park, IL left a 41-year-old woman dead in the 1300-block of Court P Monday morning.

Hanover Park police said they found the woman unresponsive in the 1300-block of Court P and she was subsequently pronounced dead, police said. She has not yet been identified. According to another neighbor who did not want to be interviewed on camera, said his surveillance camera showed the shooter pulling up to the corner of Heritage Ct. and Arlington Drive. He then walked down a pathway that connects a neighborhood full of homes and the townhouse complex and he shot the woman right at the foot of the walkway.
The neighbor whose video capture the attack said it appeared the suspect fled in an older model gray Chevy Malibu with heavy front-end damage. He said he has turned over the video to Hanover Park police, who told him not to release it publicly.
