Jacksonville police said a family member discovered the woman early Monday morning after she hadn’t been heard from in several days.

The home had no sign of forced entry, but Jacksonville police say they suspect foul play. JSO initially reported the scene involved shots fired, but were unable to confirm if a shooting had taken place. “We just lost a son Thanksgiving Day which was hard, and he died of natural causes, but to hear that it’s not natural causes, somebody committed a murder, across the street practically,” Eldwin Marzan said.
The death down the street has Nancy Marzan on edge. “I walk up and down the streets at night sometimes just walking around to de-stress. Never, not a peep,” she said.
