At one point, she sampled the durian flesh by eating a sliver she had sliced off. If you suddenly heard a strange sound, that was all the durian sellers in Singapore screaming after witnessing this desecration.The woman also attempted to plate the durian by prying the flesh out of the shell in bits and pieces. It was for the best that the durian was not sentient, because we feel very sorry for this poor fruit.
