Authorities in Bergen County are investigating after a 39-year-old woman who was found unconscious in a swimming pool later died. The woman was found about 4:26 p.m. after Saddle River police were called to a home on Fox Hedge Road on a report of an unresponsive person, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
The woman was taken to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, where she was pronounced dead, Musella said in a statement. Musella said the prosecutor’s office and local police are investigating the woman’s death. Authorities did not name the victim. Public records show the 6-bedroom, 8-bathroom home last sold for $2.7 million in May 2022.
