A Cumberland County woman fled from officers and then jumped from moving vehicle, which crashed into a parked car, police say.East Pennsboro Police said they tried to pull over Marybeth DeJesus, 38, of Enola, for a traffic violation around 11:50 p.m. on Oct. 26 at Market Street and South Enola Drive. 'The operator fled from police.
The operator jumped from a moving vehicle and fled between several houses on Myers Alley. The vehicle continued down the street and struck a parked car,' police said in a statement.Police said they located DeJesus and the following charges were filed:Fleeing or attempting to elude police officer.Traffic control signals.Drivers are required to be licensed. Accidents involving damage to unattended vehicles or property.Careless driving. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled.
