A woman is dead and several others are injured after an eight-vehicle collision north of Pearson Airport.
, in Malton, after a “serious” motor vehicle collision at around 9:35 a.m. on Thursday.
Several people were extracted from their vehicles. Peel police said an adult womans with life-threatening injuries was later pronounced dead after being taken to hospital. Police said an unconfirmed number of victims were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Others remained at the scene with minor injuries.
