Bay St. George RCMP responded to the scene of the crash shortly after 1 p.m. Police said a car left the road and was found resting in a ditch. The driver, who police said showed signs of alcohol impairment, failed a roadside breath test. She was arrested and taken to the local RCMP detachment, where she gave breath samples that were twice the legal alcohol limit.
The woman was charged with impaired driving and released from custody.
