Woman arrested in connection to shooting last night in Ogden that left a 20-year-old man dead
OGDEN, Utah — A woman has been taken into custody after a shooting in Ogden left one man is dead Tuesday evening in Ogden. Police say other suspects are also in custody related to the shooting.
According to Ogden Police, officers responded to reports of gunshots fired near the area of 12th Street and Harrison Blvd. One person, a 20-year-old man, was hit and taken to the hospital where he later died. Witnesses told police that a car had pulled up to the victim's vehicle and fired multiple shots at the man before fleeing the scene. Surveillance video was able to identify the suspect's vehicle as being registered to Chelci Seber.
After arriving at Seber's home, officers found her and other suspects hiding in a motorhome on the property. The vehicle was also located at the address and multiple bullet casings were found inside that matched those discovered at the shooting scene.As of Wednesday, Seber faces only one charge of obstruction of justice. There are no records of the other suspects being arrested.
