Sudbury nets one late to secure a hard fought victory
Wearing special jerseys for Indigenous Celebration Night, the Sudbury Wolves were at home Jan. 27 against returning Jacob Holmes and the powerhouse Windsor Spitfires and came away with two points.
With the win, the Wolves sit in 8th place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 18-19-3-2 while Windsor falls to 28-12-3-1 on the season. The Spitfires crawled back to within 1 at 8:43 of the second period with a goal from Alex Christopolous.
