Students at the Department of Film and TV at Wits University are set to benefit from grant funding from Netflix.Netflix continues to support the South African film industry through major productions.

The latest sees Netflix pledge grant funding to Wits University to provide “state of the art equipment” to students of the Film and TV Department of the Wits School of Arts, the university said in anWits, through the School of Arts, is training the next generation of film and TV producers, entertainers and content creators to serve the African continent and bolster South Africa’s burgeoning film industry.
