Mounties at UBC are seeking witnesses to a violent incident at the university on Thursday afternoon that sent a woman to hospital with serious injuries.
There, officers discovered the victim, who told police she was injured when she tried to break up a fight between a man and woman, and was assaulted by the man in the basement of the building. The man and woman from the initial altercation were last seen running from the area separately, police said.
