This Wednesday marks International Women’s Day, and the women at Alderwood Estates in Witless Bay are marking the occasion early with a new video.
It was inspired by one of the estates residents, Nora Normore, who recalls the day that the birth control pill
became available in this province. Here’s a look at that video, to the controversial Loretta Lynn song, “The Pill”.
