The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention laid out new guidance for the national response to COVID-19 on Thursday.
"This guidance acknowledges that the pandemic is not over, but also helps us move to a point where COVID-19 no longer severely disrupts our daily lives," the CDC'ssaid in a statement."We know that COVID 19 is here to stay," she added in comments during a briefing with reporters. "That is consistent with where we are in the pandemic right now," he said."I don't really think there are many state or local jurisdictions that are feeling they're going to need to start making mandates."
