IT has been just over a week since Rishi Sunak stood soaked in the rain and called an election for July 4. There was more weight in his drenched wet suit than anything else he’s had to say since.
Of course political parties should aspire to change the minds of those who disagree with them, the problem here is that there’s not much they have to change their minds on! Of course, it wouldn’t be a Labour campaign without the patronising claim that they need Scotland to vote Labour for them to win. I can’t say it enough, with the number of seats Scotland has in Westminster being cut, every Scottish seat can be outvoted by one city in England. Whilst most of England is engaged in a two-horse race, I am so grateful that in Scotland we have options beyond just Labour and Conservative.
