Democratic Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers said Tuesday that he would consider vetoing any Republican budget plan without significant pay increases for prosecutors and corrections officers.

"Our system is on the brink, so we need to fund it, simple as that," Evers said at a WisPolitics.com event Tuesday. Democratic Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers said he'd veto any budget plan not including significant raises for corrections and prosecutorial employees.
