Expect 10 to 15 centimetres of snow and reduced visibility continuing into Friday morning
A winter weather travel advisory is in effect for Sudbury and area with heavy snowfall and reduced visibility beginning the afternoon of Thursday. Jan. 19 and continuing into Friday morning.
A Colorado low is expected to bring heavy snow, expected to fall heavily through Thursday evening before tapering to periods of lighter snow early Friday morning. Total accumulation could reach 10-15 centimetres. Environment Canada advises preparation for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
