A wind advisory is in effect for several central Pa. counties until Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.The counties included in the advisory are Cambria, Blair, Somerset, Bedford, Fulton, Franklin, Dauphin, Lebanon, Adams, York, Lancaster and Schuylkill, the NWS said.
Northwest winds will range from 25 to 30 mph, and wind gusts between 45-50 mph are expected, the NWS said. The high winds could blow around unsecured objects, and tree limbs could be blown down, the NWS warned. A few power outages in these areas are possible. The NWS said people should use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle. People should also secure outside objects.
