The name of the pupil who died has not yet been released.
One mother of a year two pupil, who declined to give her name, was present outside the school when crash happened.: “It’s such a quiet, supportive, tight-knit community. The year threes are moving from this building to the other building and this was like their little leaving tea [party]. We were with each other yesterday afternoon.
“They were leaving here to go to Spencer House … so this was like their graduation ceremony. So you can imagine a prize giving, a graduation ceremony, and then something devastating like this happens. It is split into two buildings, with reception to year 3 pupils attending Wilberforce House and year 4 to year 6 pupils being schooled at Spencer House. Thursday marked the last day of term for the young pupils at Wilberforce House.
