CAPE TOWN - The high-profile trial against alleged underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack is set to turn the spotlight on the attempted murder of criminal attorney, William Booth.
According to the State, Modack and his co-accused are also behind the murder of top cop Charl Kinnear, Nico Heerschap, the father of a Hawks officer, and the attempted murder of Booth. A self-confessed hitman who turned State witness, and can only be identified as Mister A, has already testified that Poole instructed him to murder Booth on behalf of Modack.
