Olofsson, 27, is coming off of a 28-goal season for the Sabres.

Obviously they’ve been talking to teams about Olofsson, a guy that teams look at as a kind of “Easy Mac” cup that you throw in the microwave. That’s Victor Olofsson getting you 17 goals, I think he’s one of those guys that you plug into your lineup and go. The other part with Olofsson is that he’s got one year left at $4.75 million, he then becomes a UFA, they’d have to pay him. I said 17, I was way light, he had 28 last year but 20 the year before.

He’s a goal scorer and he’s available. Should have been on my trade targets board so apologies that he didn’t make it into the top 50 that was an oversight on my part.
