Season 2 premiered on Netflix, but fans have already become deeply invested in the Sharma sisters — and according to breakout star Simone Ashley, who plays the beloved Kate Sharma, fans don't have to fret.
“He was always there for me. One phone call away. One text message away. Even now, given the show now being out, Season 2 being out, we're in contact pretty much every day just checking in, like, ‘How are you?’ Because you need good people and you need your close friends around you,” Simone said at the event. “I think the thing that’s so amazing about the show, especially working with Johnny, it was a partnership.
“Last year was one of the best years of my life. I’ll always remember it,” Simone said. “Working with him and Charithra [Chandon, who plays Kate's sister Edwina Sharma], I didn’t want it to end. I’m so excited to step into Season 3 with Johnny and to continue Kate and Anthony’s love story.
