Minister of Electricity and Energy Kgosientsho Ramokgopa has clarified whether the prepaid meter update deadline will be extended.
Electricity and Energy Minister Dr. Kgosientsho Ramokgopa has confirmed that the November 24 deadline for re-coding prepaid electricity meters remains firm., Ramokgopa said that technical constraints make an extension impossible when speaking to the media about the re-coding process and the Integrated Resource Plan.
The utility has also advised consumers to check their meter status to avoid the costly and time-consuming process of meter replacement. Bafana and Sundowns star has attracted significant interest from a top La Liga club, sparking speculation about a potential move to Europe.
