episode 5 finally arrives. In an exclusive clip from episode 5, Will asks Lisa to teach him how to float in the Banks family pool. It doesn't matter how cool the water is —have put Will through the wringer as the young basketball star grows desperate to forge his own path and take control of his future. So far, he's seemingly patched things up with Uncle Phil and the rest of the Banks crew. He's grown closer to Coach Doc, a sketchy new mentor from South L.A.
“Remember, your body's only tense because you're in your head,” says Lisa as Will leans back. “Just close your eyes and think about something that brings you peace.” “I'm not gon' lie, the only thing that's bringing me peace right now is your voice,” replies Will with his eyes closed in concentration. Based on her facial expression, Lisa wasexpecting that answer. “So… focus on my voice,” she says, shaking it off. She continues coaching Will, and soon enough, he gets it.
“Oh shit! Am I floating? All by myself? That's crazy!” Will cheers as he opens his eyes, alone in the middle of the pool. Lisa watches from a few steps away, shooting Will a complicated look, but a clear one: there's nothing but love in her eyes.
