Eagle's Jason Kelce spills the beans on Chiefs' Travis Kelce's status.
I was talking to him yesterday, and I’ve done the same thing. You know, you just plant, or you do something and you hyperextend it. I mean, I’ll be truthful. The last time I did this, I was making a bonfire outside and I thought, I thought I was strong enough to kick a piece of wood in half, and I hyperextended my knee and did the same thing.
It was in the middle of the season, but my knee did swell up. And I was like, ‘Man, that was the dumbest thing I’ve done in a long time.’But it sounds like as long as they keep that down, you know, he’s going to have a chance to go. The ligaments and everything are intact structurally. From what we know right now, his knee is fine. So really, it’s about getting that swelling down and then seeing how bruised that bone is because ... that can be pretty painful, especially if it’s in a spot that’s rubbing all the time and, and that can kind of shut down your muscles and do other things, but I think he’s gonna be good to go. I really do.
If Jason is correct, you can expect to see Travis ready to bring in the 2023 NFL season with his teammates. Super Bowl LVII was a Kelce family reunion of sorts. The brothers became the first time siblings faced each other on opposing teams as players.the two would act as if they were playing in championship games“I remember doing it in every sport,” Travis said. “In baseball, basketball, and hockey, we acted like we were in the pros and trying to be great on the biggest stage possible. I remember my brother beating me in those situations and always winning, so I want to change that.
