A report by a panel Stellenbosch University hired to investigate its Wilgenhof residence scandal found that the activities of its infamous"Nagligte", or unofficial residence disciplinary committee, were"taken off campus" and hosted on a farm by a private company as recently as last year. This was because"the Nagligte and participants would be free to experience the activities in their original form" – and far from the prying eyes of university staff and other students.
