The fleeing suspect is facing a number of charges after somehow surviving the brutal crash.pickup truck as part of a narcotics investigation. As they approached the vehicle, the 39-year-old driver took off and began to lead police on a chase through South Florida. In the process of beginning the chase, authorities say that he attempted to hit one of the detectives and struck one police car.
The pursuit ended when the driver lost control of the truck and hit a white Nissan Sentra in traffic. The small sedan then rammed into the back of a black Tesla. Thankfully, that same Tesla had video cameras recording the entire incident. In that footage, we see how things went from bad to worse for the suspect.
