Studiocanal has dropped the official Wicked Little Letters trailer for its upcoming black comedy mystery movie.
. The film had its world premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival, and is slated to arrive in U.K. theaters on February 23, 2024. As for its international release date, no announcements have been made at the moment.
In the video, an unusual scandal rocks the seaside town of Littlehampton, when women in their community began receiving letters filled with harsh profanities targeting them. Because of her carefree spirit and loud personality, Buckley’s Rose becomes their number one suspect behind the insulting letters. However, after Colman’s Edith unexpectedly forms a friendship with Rose, they realized that Rose isn’t the culprit.
The film is executive produced by Jo Wallett, Ron Halpern, Anna Marsh, Joe Naftalin, Daniel Battsek, Ollie Madden, Farhana Bhula, Jonny Sweet and Simon Bird.
