They trailed 20-0, and were averaging just 0.2 yards per play.
And quarterback Davis Mills was at the heart of those struggles, throwing a pick-six on the first drive of the game.Nearly a half the seats at NRG Stadium were empty Sunday — an indictment toward the product Houston has put on the field this season. And those that were there, booed their hearts out and made their displeasure known.
Because of that, the Texans were forced to pass for the majority of the game. But they couldn’t do that. “Props to their D-Line, their front seven,” Mills said of the Commanders. “They kind of dominated today. We were having to play from behind the chains. A lot of third-and-longs we couldn’t convert.
