A former executive of the Media Development and Diversity Agency is outraged following a decision by the office of the Public Protector not to investigate his complaint of an unfair dismissal.
Ndibongo wrote to Parliament to complain about how his matter was handled. In that email, he made serious allegations against the Public Protector’s office. The purpose of an internal review, she said, was to confirm whether the process undertaken in Ndibongo’s complaint was fair and reasonable.Motsitsi said an internal review would only be considered on the basis of the following grounds:
That the CCMA ruled on jurisdiction, therefore the Public Protector should investigate whether the CCMA ruling was fair;Whether the actions of former MDDA CEO Zukiswa Potye were tantamount to malfeasance because Ndibongo submitted a grievance to the MDDA board on workplace harassment and victimisation before the alleged illegal medical boarding;
