Convicted criminal and Czech mobster Radovan Krecjir has approached the high court in a bid to have the Kgosi Mampuru prison boss, correctional services department officials and the minister of justice jailed for contempt of court for allegedly ignoring an order that ensured his rights be protected.

However, the respondents in the matter have questioned the validity of the court order and denied the allegations.
