LALIGA legend Karim Benzema has been spotted back at Real Madrid amid a difficult time in Saudi Arabia – here is why he is at his former club again. In an official statement released on their social media channels, Al Ittihad have confirmed the iconic French forward is being treated by the Spanish giants for an injury. reports Benzema has been seen at the club's Valdebebas training complex more than once to be helped with his fitness issues.
Medical staff from both the Saudi side and Los Blancos have been in regular contact as they work together to get the 36-year-old back to his sharpest. The five-time UEFA Champions League winner has made just 29 appearances in the Middle East this term, and has missed 18 matches. It is understood Benzema will use Real's facilities and be treated by their medical professionals until next week.
