The two new colours in question? Earl is a shade of grey with hints of aquamarine, a hue which will be familiar to anyone who enjoys a cup of, erm, Earl Grey tea. Captain Picard will surely note this development in his supplemental logs later today. The other new colour is called Reign, described as a vivid purple which hasn’t been seen on a Wrangler since 2018 and was surely named by someone with a healthy back catalog of Prince albums.
Earl and Reign join a lengthy lineup of eye-popping and special-run colours that add a certain appeal to the Wrangler, which offers an entertaining colour palette straight from the factory. The new hues will be available on all Wrangler models, from Sport to 392 and 4xe. Jeep says this Earl was , an overlanding rig which also said ‘yes’ to approximately the entire Jeep Performance Parts catalog. That concept had some lime-green accents but this production variant simply has a smattering of red addenda on the Rubicon trim shown here.Article content
