The family of Milton man Johnny Connelly has launched a fresh appeal for information four years after his tragic death.
The 28-year-old was reported missing by his family when he didn't return home from a day out with his friend in the city centre on July 15, 2019. His body was recovered from the water at Spiers Wharf a week later, four years ago today, on July 22.Johnny had injuries to his head and body, with the police developing a theory he had been attacked at the motorway underpass at Cowcaddens on the day he went missing.
Officers made several appeals over the unexplained death but they have confirmed enquiries have been completed and no one has been charged in connection.Now a poster, which appears to be from the Connelly Family, has appeared in a shop window on Cambridge Street appealing for information."The Monday after TRNSMT he had injuries to his head and torso before being found dead a week later on the 22/7/2019 in Spiers Wharf Canal."He was son, brother, nephew and uncle, we need answers.
He was wearing a black Adidas hooses top with white stripes down the sleeves, black jogging trousers, and royal blue coloured Nike trainers.
