reported that in court yesterday, the Prosecution alleged that the estimated R800k that was paid into accused number four, Mziwethemba Gwbanei’s bank account allegedly came from Sydney Mfundo Gcaba. Netizens on social media users were curious to know whether the man is linked to the notorious Gcaba brothers.

The Gcaba brothers also known as Abafana BakaGcaba in Zulu are said to allegedly linked to a transactional crime ring is in Umlanzi, e Thekwini, KwaZulu Natal. The State is said to have alleged that after receiving the money, Gwabeni proceeded to pay his co-accused an amount of R133,000.
