The White House is looking to cover treatments for uninsured coronavirus patients through a hospital bailout fund in the massive rescue package Congress approved last week, Vice President Mike Pence said on Thursday.
The White House coronavirus task force is working on a proposal to divert some of the $100 billion in hospital funding that was part of the $2.2 trillion rescue package. Pence said an announcement could come Friday.
