The White House on Wednesday embarked on an unprecedented effort to collect names, contact information and other details about Americans who say that Facebook, Google and Twitter censor their political posts online, marking a controversial escalation of President Trump's long-running allegations that tech giants are biased against conservatives.

“Too many Americans have seen their accounts suspended, banned, or fraudulently reported for unclear ‘violations’ of user policies,” the survey claims.
