Now that series 14 in full swing, fans have been wondering whereWATCH: Meet the 2023 Great British Bake Off contestantsThe much-loved baking show is filmed in the grounds of the Welford Park Estate in Berkshire, with the grand estate providing the perfect backdrop for filming, with pristine gardens, an apple orchard with a wildflower meadow and extensive woodland and farmland.
The team at the estate offer everything the contestants and crew could possibly need while filming the show; including a production office, green room and catering – although we imagine they usually enjoy the leftover cakes!Can I visit Welford Estate? While the Welford Estate is a private home, it is open to the public on certain dates throughout the year, including a five-week stint to showcase the beautiful. As of December 1 2023, fans can buy tickets to visit the Snowdrop Gardens between Wednesday 31st January and Sunday 5th March 2024., which allows families to visit Welford Park after dark. This year, it's taking place between Friday 20th October and Sunday 12th November 2023, so you better hurry if you want tickets.
