'When you vote for the ANC, you vote for corruption' - DA targets government buildings to spread its messageMmusi Maimane during the Democratic Alliance manifesto launch at the Rand Stadium on February 23, 2019 in Johannesburg.
The Democratic Alliance wants South African citizens to know that a"vote for the ANC is a vote for corruption". To get its message across, the party will be driving around the province on Thursday night and projecting an image of ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa and the party's secretary general, Ace Magashule under the slogan:"Let's grow corruption together," onto government buildings."Tonight we are doing a projection of what we believe is important to take out to South Africans in a race against time.
"On the eve of this election, South Africans must remember the importance of their vote and not reward corruption," the DA Youth League's Luyolo Mphithi told News24 outside Luthuli House."We are saying that we do not want corrupt people to serve Parliament. We want politicians who will serve the public to the best of their ability," Mphithi said.
