Unions must give two weeks’ notice before calling further strike action.
The Government is attempting to introduce legislation which will require transport workers to run a minimum service when strikes are taking place.Union have criticised the proposal, with RMT general secretary Mick Lynch said the restrictions will only make it “more difficult to reach a negotiated settlement”.
Mick Whelan, general secretary of Aslef, said: “The morally corrupt train companies signed contracts with the Government to say they would not offer more than 2 per cent, knowing we have free collective bargaining, and do not work for the Government.
