A stumbling block in Mamelodi Sundowns not being able to acquire the services of Orlando Pirates winger Vincent Pule, in a late bid, has been revealed. SLSiya Read more:
The Siya crew broke the story last week that Sundowns made a late transfer bid for the services of Pule, who is believed to be admired by head coach Rulani Mokwena after their time together at the Soweto giants.
It is understood that the 30-year old recently signed a new contract at the Houghton-based outfit and Pirates would only entertain an offer that would make financial sense. According to Siya sources, what made the Brazilians to think twice about the asking price from Pirates is that Pule is turning 31 next month and may not be the right investment for the future, considering the steep price tag.
From Pule's perspective, his career could actually get a boost at Pirates after a strong interest for his services from the reigning champions.
