Toronto has much to offer this weekend. Here’s a sampling of what’s on.on Friday, where visitors can shop from local Black-owned businesses and learn from historians as they celebrate Black excellence.

This free event, for all ages, is hosted by the New Youth Council at the Museums of Mississauga and takes place the Small Arms Inspection Building, 1352 Lakeshore Rd. E., from 4 to 9 p.m. Along with food from African- and Caribbean-inspired restaurants, the market features guest speakers including Channon Oyeniran, a lecturer and consultant on Black History, and Leonard Paris, author of the memoir “Jim Crow Also Lived Here.” Vendors include Akachi Farms, Heroes of the World, Mia’s World Book Club , OyES Education, ReLiv Organics and the Mississauga Soap Company.On Sunday, Eastview Neighbourhood Community Centre, at 86 Blake St.
