Here's how to keep your skin safe

The sun is shining and it’s time to break out that bottle of sunscreen that you haven’t touched since August 2022.

We all know that sunscreen is important but it’s hard to figure out what products can work best for your screen. Here is a rundown of everything you need to know about SPF for the summer.SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor. The SPF rating on a product determines how much of the sun’s harmful rays will penetrate through the barrier product and actually reach your skin.It depends on your skin tone and how long you will be out in the sun.

If you have darker skin and rarely burn, you will only need at most SPF 30 if you are spending a few hours in the sun. Obviously, these are general guidelines and the actual protection will depend on how often you top up your sun cream. Make sure you read the instructions on each individual product. Here are a few of our fav SPF products for the summer to keep your skin happy and healthy.
