Saturday, Sept. 10 Markets: The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.

Festivals and Fairs: The Murillo Mutts Family Fall Fair is being held at the Murillo Fair Grounds from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $3 per family head down to experience food, music and entertainment as well as prizes and surprises. The Franco Festival, a family event celebrating diverse Francophone cultures in Thunder Bay and NWO, is being held at 234 Van Norman Street from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Head down and learn more about local Francophone cultures.

Tours: Come and explore our roots in agriculture with Doors Open Thunder Bay! Experience Thunder Bay and area’s rich history, culture and community initiatives first-hand by visiting some of our most unique architectural structures, farming landscapes and heritage sites - all free to attend.
