Many major businesses will be open
This weekend is a long one for many people but because the August Civic Holiday is not a statutory holiday many businesses will be open Monday.
The Quinte Mall, grocery stores, and Walmart will be open although some will be closing earlier than usual. The Beer Store on Bell Boulevard in Belleville and the Trenton store will be open Monday, all others will be closed.Belleville Transit, as is usual on holidays, will not be running buses Monday and municipal and other government offices will be closed.
