Shalulile won the Golden Boot award with 23 league goals last season and there were doubts at the beginning of the campaign, as he was not finding the back of the net. However, the Namibian finally opened his account with a brace against Kaizer Chiefs and has not looked back since, as he is currently the leading goalscorer with six goals.
"He's an incredible football player but also he's an incredible human being. I remember on the first day returning back from pre-season, I said to him, 'Where to know Peter?' and you know what he said to me, he said, 'We just keep going and we try to do better than last season'.
"And you have players like Peter, who make these decisions every single day, to work everyday on their craft, to put in the hours and this is why sometimes when we speak that give these new signings time, because there's an adaptation to mentality, to culture.
