MJ Jennings, whose mother, Leah Corken, was killed at Dallas’ The Tradition-Prestonwood in 2016, told a reporter at the time she expected to see a reaction from Chemirmir but never did. “I realized there’s nothing I can say, nothing matters,” Jennings said. “He is a cold, dark, evil man and I felt that more today than I ever did in any of the trials.”Cheryl Bixler Pangburn, whose mother Marilyn Bixler was killed at Parkview Frisco in 2017, told Chemirmir “the ultimate crime did not receive the ultimate punishment.”
