Parents, What Are The Unwritten Rules Of Raising Kids?
Those rules are for everyone, but it got me thinking — there are also unwritten rules of being a parent!For example, when you’re a parent, it is understood that all plans are tentative.If you have younger kids, you should expect to have company when you use the bathroom.
If your kid suddenly invites themselves over to another kid’s house, you have to say, “Oh, I don’t know if that will work right now” to give the other parent an out.And you don’t make fun of another parent for saying things like, “Do you need to use the potty?” — even if their kid isn’t around.
